About

The Paramount's Story Continues

The Paramount Theatre opened its doors on December 24, 1929, and soon became a cherished gathering place for entertainment throughout Casa Grande. Over the decades, it changed hands, evolved with the times, and welcomed generations of guests before closing in 1992.

In 1993, Deborah Martin purchased the theatre at a tax auction and began the work of restoring it. The Paramount was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999 and reopened in 2003, preserving an irreplaceable part of Casa Grande's history.

Today, the Ramos family, through Ramos Grand Enterprise, is honored to carry that legacy forward. For our family, the Paramount is more than a historic building—it is a place where people can come together, families can make lasting memories, and local talent and culture can take center stage. Our hope is to fill this theatre with life once again, creating experiences that strengthen our community and contribute to a vibrant future for downtown Casa Grande.
